Seachtain na Gaeilge 2025!

Seachtain na Gaeilge is in full swing at Mary Mother of Hope, with lots of wonderful activities organised by the Ms. Carty! This week, we are immersing ourselves in the spirit of Irish culture and language, with exciting events to celebrate the beauty of the Irish language and St. Patrick's Day.

There are many fun events taking place in classes all week and all the children are busy preparing for the School Céilí which will take place this Friday. Check back for some photos!

Also on Friday, we will celebrate ‘Lá Glas’ (Green Day) in honour of St. Patrick’s Day! Students are invited to wear green, white, or orange clothing to school to show their festive spirit. It's a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together and celebrate Ireland's rich heritage.

In addition to Lá Glas, we are combining the event with our annual Funky Hair Day, organised by the Parent Association. So, let your imagination run wild – be as creative as possible with your funky hairstyles! We can't wait to see all the fun and unique styles.
