Dear parents,
The Hello, How Are You? Day is a nationwide campaign run by Mental Health Ireland to support people connection and engagement in conversations about mental health It’s about asking the question, ‘How Are You?’ with meaning, and really listening to the response. The campaign, this year is inviting all primary and secondary schools to become involved- to say Hello and ask the question ‘How Are You?’ in a meaningful way.
Events in the Junior and Senior School
Next Thursday March 30th, all classes our junior and senior schools will participate in activities to celebrate Hello How Are You Day. The Junior School and Senior school classes will join for Hello how Are You walks, so that the children from both schools can connect and chat on the day. It will be a No Homework day so that all children can have opportunities to engage in Hello How Are You conversations with their families that evening.
Special Coffee Morning
The Parents Association will be hosting a Parent Coffee Morning on Friday March 31st at 9am in the Junior School Hall to celebrate Hello How Are You day.
We would like to invite all our parents call in for a coffee and an opportunity to say hello, have a coffee, chat and connect. We will have a box in the hall for parents wishing to make a contribution to this very worthy cause.
We look forward to seeing you all on Friday 31st!
