On Friday 6th September, Mary Mother of Hope Schools bade farwell to Joan,
our schools' Lollipop Lady for the last nineteen years.
It was a day of mixed of emotions. The children and staff were very sad to be saying goodbye to Joan,
and her warm daily welcome on the way to and from school,
but we are delighted for Joan, as she begins the next stage of life's journey.
The school coomunity celebrated Joan's contribution to Mary Mother of Hope Schools,
with our Junior and Senior School children's Guard of Honour for Joan
and the wonderful coffee morning organised by the Parents Association.
A fitting tribute to Joan's time as Lollipop Lady of Mary Mother of Hope Schools.
