Celebrating Our 20th Birthday!

Good morning everyone!
Happy first day back in the new school year. I hope it is a good one!!!.....and happy birthday to Mary, Mother of Hope school!
This day, 20 years ago, we opened our school for the first time....and it was a very different time!!! There were just 55 pupils and three teachers in prefabs on the edge of the roundabout.....I taught in Senior Infatns, Alma Moran and Amanda Helferty in Junior Infants.....Little did I know then the great adventure that lay ahead!!!!
Our school has always been marked out by the quality of the relationships we have with our children, our parents and our community, and by the fantastic staff that have supported learning over 20 years. We look forward to the next step in our journey of learning together, with our motto of 'Many Cultures, One Community!'
