Rósín's Stunning work of Art!

Congratulations to Róisín Downey who entered the RTE News2Day Christmas Art competition and was highly commended by the judges for her thoughtful and poignant entry, which is shown above.
Róisín was inspired by the work she had been doing in class on World War 2 and shows a drawing of group of children huddled together ahead of being evacuated alongside the same children in their later years, reminiscing in a nursing home.
The theme of togetherness and solidarity is captured, along with the slogan ‘Coughs and Sneezes Spread Diseases’.
Well done Róisín, we are very proud of you- and we will be presenting Rósín with a voucher from the school to mark her wonderful achievement!
